World War 2 Military technology
During the middle 19th century, a second world war erupts. World War 2. World War 2 introduces the creation of the tank. The tank was created by the Germans and it was a big improvement in transportation and also devastating in gunfire. The tanks could run right through enemy lines making it easier to avoid heavy gunfire. With the creation of poison gas from world war 1, chemical warfare became more advanced. The Germans had the most advanced chemical industry at the time, so they were the first to use poison gas. The gas wasn't very effective at first because it would blow back in the soldiers faces and eyes and choke them to death. The Germans then began to use more advanced chemicals like mustard gas and phonephone . The gas that the Germans use was extremely dangerous and destructive, burning soldiers eyes and choking them to death. Chemical later became illegal, but it was highly advanced and also effective towards the enemy. The development of the tank helped progress new and more advanced tanks with more guns. Tanks also helped to transport many soldiers while in battle. The takes influenced other countries today to make more advanced tanks and most battles involve tanks for heavy battle or for patrol. Tanks changed the way warfare was fought because now more heavy armored vehicles were moving into battle instead of all soldiers on foot. Tanks made warfare dangerous because they were highly destructive and they could plow right through enemy lines.
